This video starts out as what almost seems like a nightmare! It almost feels like I'm entering into a musical number. Not all music videos make you feel like this. Is this an ode to the Barnum and Bailey era or Ringling Brothers? Palaye Royale isn't one to shrink away from letting their viewers/listeners from knowing that they have felt like society feels they are freaks and outcasts. That is what the circus scene was for. It was the promise land for those who were the misfits and social outcasts.  No one listens to the social outcasts no matter how much we cry out. All the while the singer appears unsure of his new surroundings.  The singer is watching fireworks and singing to a contortionist that appears to be in pain. The amount of stress they put on their body for the shows could cause permanent damage and lead to severe arthritis and other deformities and health issues.
